About the Opportunity

This is a legal content writing opportunity. Our team will support any help or research understanding if required. Through this, the students will get an opportunity to showcase their research and writing skills.

The articles will be published along with the author’s name. A certificate will be provided along with a letter of recommendation if the interns want one.

Mode of Internship

The internship opportunity will be an online opportunity.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Each intern is required to submit 2 articles per week i.e. a total of 8 articles per month. There will be allotted days for submission.
  • Everyone is instructed to write their names, course, year, college name, and task allotted topic on their document file while submitting it via email before 9 AM on the succeeding day of their day allotted.
  • Interns are mandated to send in their reports on the internship email id only. 
  • The articles should be Plagiarism free. In exceptional cases, Plagiarism is not to exceed 10%.
  • An internship certificate shall only be issued on completion of at least 8 tasks in the whole month and 16 tasks in 2 months.
  • Interns may intimate us when not able to submit a task on the allotted day with proper reasons. They may complete it and submit it in the following days.
  • Interns have to make sure that the topic chosen is of relevance to the contemporary scenario and pertains to not older than 2 days of their allotted. (e.g.: High court and Supreme Court judgements should not be older than 2 days).
  • Word limit:  within 2000 words
  • Format for articles:
    • The articles should be on the topic on which the judgement has been delivered. Please bear in mind that you need not write a case brief. 
    • Write a short and crisp brief/introduction about the relevant area/section which is going to be discussed.
    • Explain the importance if required and appropriate.
    • If applicable and appropriate write how the law on the same developed (this can include a brief history)
    • Explain the section/s
    • Mention relevant case laws of major developments on the particular topic/area/section
    • Include a critical analysis if required and appropriate 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Pursuing LLB (students of 3rd, 4th and 5th year pursuing 5 years LLB, 2nd & 3rd year students pursuing 3 years LLB).
  • Prior legal content writing experience.
