The Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) is a statutory body established under the Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CPCR) Act, 2005. The Commission is under the Government of Delhi and is headed currently by Chairperson Anurag Kundu.

About the Opportunity

Junior Consultant: The Commission invites applications for Junior Consultants positions in the different fields of child rights.

Senior Consultant: The Senior Consultant shall be hired for a period of 3 months initially which is extendable by 6 months based on performance reviews.

Project Management Unit: The PMU will comprise of the following

Senior Consultant (Project Lead)
2 Data Consultants (Data Analysts)
3 Consultants

Project Management Unit: 6 (Six)

Eligibility Criteria

Junior Consultant:

Skills and Competencies: The applicants need to be able to use basic computer software(s) and functions such as Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), emails, scanning, printing, etc.
Educational Qualifications: Graduate degree from a recognised university.

Note: Any degree with a course of study for 05 or more years will be taken as equivalent to postgraduate and a degree with a course of study less than 05 years will be taken as a graduate.

Senior Consultant:

Sr. Consultants need to be able to use basic computer-related software and functions such as Microsoft Word and Excel, Emails, Scanning, Printing, etc.

Retired officials from the Department of Health, Women and Child Development, Police, Education, Social Welfare or who have previously served as Sub-Divisional or District Magistrates. OR
Former Members of the National and State Commissions for Protection of Child Rights (N/SCPCRs), Human Rights Commissions, National and State Commission for Women (N/SCW), National and State Disability Commissions, Former members of Child Welfare Committee (CWCs) and Juvenile Justice Board (JJBs): OR
Work experience of at least 12 years full time experience in the field of child rights with a graduate degree from a recognised university; OR
Work experience of at least 10 years full time experience in the field of child rights with a postgraduate degree or diploma from recognised university.

Remuneration

Junior Consultant: Rs. 20,977/- per month besides the official travel related reimbursements;
Senior Consultant: Rs. 60,000/- per month besides the official travel related reimbursements;
Project Management Unit:

Senior Consultant (Project Lead): Rs. 90,000 per month
Data Consultants (Data Analysts): Rs. 1,20,000 per month
Consultants: Rs. 45,000 per month

The applicants shall be required to submit their CV/Resume, and Cover Letter along with the application.
The selection process will involve an in-person interview. There shall be a provision of virtual interview in cases the candidate is based out of Delhi or circumstances have rendered the applicant incapable of attending an in-person interview. In this matter, the decision of the Commission shall be final.

Senior Consultant:

All the applicants must submit their application forms on or before July 28th, 2021 upto 11:59 PM by means of filling the application form.

All the applicants for Sr. Consultant shall be required to submit their CV/Resume, Cover letter and a brief statement (Not more than 400 words) outlining their work in the field of child rights.
The selection process may involve an in-person interview. There shall be a provision of virtual interviews in cases the candidates is not based out of Delhi or circumstances have rendered the applicant incapable of attending an in-person interview. In this matter, the decision of the Commission shall be final.
